An Intimate Celebration

When it comes to weddings, there’s something truly special about intimate celebrations. Being surrounded by the people who matter most creates a day filled with heartfelt moments. That’s exactly the kind of love and connection I had the privilege of capturing at Mikayla and Luke’s wedding at the beautiful Tigh Na Mara Seaside Resort & Spa in Parksville, BC. The venue itself, nestled along the beautiful Vancouver Island coastline, provided a breathtaking backdrop for this sweet couple’s celebration. With the sound of waves crashing gently on the shore and the serene surroundings, it was the perfect place to say their I do's.


Rich in Heartfelt Moments

Mikayla and Luke’s love for each other was clear in every glance, every touch, and every word they shared. Their day was filled with so much joy, made even more special by the presence of their closest loved ones, who traveled from near and far to celebrate with them. The whole day was rich with personal, heartfelt moments—from handwritten poems read aloud by a dear friend to a beautiful song composed and performed by Grandpa. Each gesture added a layer of emotion and meaning, making it an unforgettable day, full of love and memories to cherish forever.


Furry Friends at the Wedding

One of the most adorable touches of the day was the inclusion of Mikayla & Luke's pups Irl and Sherman! As a Veterinary Technician with a deep love for her pups, Mikayla couldn't imagine the day without them! The two cuties were such good boys, walking down the aisle like pros, and overall were just the cutest addition to the day!
